Racing for Autism featured in
July 2010 issue of
Mustang Enthusiast Magazine !

On May 28th we had the honour of meeting the family of the late James Delorey
They were so wonderful to open their hearts and invite us into their family.
We had a weekend full of memories to last a life time, and made friends for life.

The Racing for Autism Cars showed up at Jesse Delorey's school.
Ray surprised him with a Mustang Racing Jacket (graciously donated by JH Designs)
Then Jesse got the fastest ride home ever!!

It was great to see the smile on Jesse's face, since experiencing so much sorrow after
his younger brother's tragic loss. (see bottom of this page "In Loving Memory...")

Driver Julie Halleran

Julie Halleran To Drive Mustang for Targa 2010!

With Driver Ray Halleran now set to race the Shelby for Targa 2010, Racing for Autism was in need of a new driver for the Mustang. And who better to take on the task than the one responsible for keeping it all together behind the scenes?

That's right, folks: In addition to her amazing administrative work for the team, Ray's wife, Julie Halleran, will be sliding into the Driver's seat of the Mustang for Targa 2010.

Ray's son, Jesse Halleran, will be navigating as Julie's Co-Driver.

MANY WILL HAVE HEARD OF THE TRAGIC LOSS OF SEVEN-YEAR-OLD
JAMES DELOREY.

James was an autistic child who spent two nights in freezing temperatures
after wandering into the woods near his home in South Bar NS.
James succumbed to hypothermia shortly after being found
— just over a kilometre from his home.

LET'S HELP THE DELOREY FAMILY DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME.

For the month of December, Racing for Autism forwarded
all donated funds to the Delorey family in memory of James.

Information on direct donations to the family can be found to the left.

On behalf of the Delorey Family,
we thank you for your support.
